20 year old model jumps naked to her death rather than be raped by two men

20 year old model and university student named Gulay Bursali, jumped naked from a very high Istanbul apartment where she was staying with her boyfriend, to escape being raped by an estate agent who rented them the flat, alongside his friend.

Gulay Bursali and her boyfriend had asked a property agent if there was an empty apartment they could rent for the weekend, and were given the keys to a property in Basaksehir, a district located on the European side of Istanbul. But after partying with friends in a local bar, they had gone back to the flat where they ended up being attacked by the estate agent.

According to the boyfriend’s statement to police, the estate agent had tricked his way inside by claiming he wanted to get some things from the apartment.

Once inside, the estate agent and a friend beat him up, took his phone and locked him inside one of the rooms. They then locked the young woman in another room, and stripped her naked before she managed to open the window and climbed outside, threatening to jump unless they let her go.

Eyewitnesses said they had seen the naked young woman hanging out of the window.

Thelma West, a 32-year-old Nigerian is the only woman in the male-dominated world of diamond business

Nigerian Thelma West is a rare gem in the diamond world as a woman in a male-dominated sector with few Africans, despite the continent being the main source of the precious rocks.

The first in her family to work in diamonds, West is used to being an outsider, having been raised in a Jewish family in a country where Jews number fewer than 50,000 out of a population of around 180 million.

"I’m the only Nigerian Jewish woman in the trade, and I don’t know of other African women in the business," the 32-year-old told AFP at her London-based business as she greeted customers with a broad smile and sparkling diamonds on her hands and wrists.

Discretion and security are essential, with the anonymous-looking building guarded by an encrypted intercom system and a reinforced door, all under the gaze of a bank of security cameras.

"I wanted to become an engineer because at that time in Nigeria, you had to choose a solid career, such as doctor, lawyer, engineer," she told AFP.

But, as the saying goes, “Diamonds Are Forever” and the sparkle of the stones, which had captivated West since childhood, was an irresistible allure.

"My mum had loads of jewellery," said the daughter of a Guinness drinks company employee mother and a property developer and industrialist father. "We were always playing with her jewellery box and she would always clean her jewels, and I would help."

West headed for Antwerp, the world’s diamond capital, aged 17 despite "not knowing anybody" in the Belgian city. There, she enrolled at the internationally renowned Hoge Raad Voor Diamant school to hone her skills.

"Even though you go to school, most of your knowledge comes from working with diamonds day-to-day," she said.

After trying for six months in vain to secure an internship, she was eventually taken under the wing of an Orthodox Jew diamond dealer, who worked with her every evening after school for a year. She was then recruited by one of the biggest diamond suppliers in Europe based in Spain.It was being sent in at the deep end," she recalled. "I was 19 and I was responsible for every single diamond the company had."

Katt Williams is in custody again -- cops scooped him up Wednesday for that brawl with a 17-year-old.
Gainesville PD in Georgia tell TMZ ... officers showed up at Katt's house and arrested him. As we told you, an arrest warrant was issued on Monday. Katt was booked around 2:30 PM, and will be held until his court appearance Thursday.
You'll remember ... Williams was seen in a video last week punching 17-year-old Luke Wash after a soccer game. Both Katt and Wash were charged with disorderly conduct.
Luke turned himself in on Monday.

Fetty Wap made it just in the knick of time for the birth of his baby girl with Masika, and the trio looks like one big happy family in their first group shot.
Fetty and Masika's baby girl, Khari Barbie Maxwell, was born weighing 7 lbs and 1 oz Tuesday in a L.A. hospital at around 6:07 PM.
According to Masika's rep ... the labor was easy with little pain and no complications.
As we previously reported ... Fetty hopped on a plane from New Jersey the second Masika went into labor ... about a 6 hour flight.
We're told they agreed on the name Khari since it means queenly and joyful in Swahili ... which is a long way from where this whole thing started.

Lady Gaga's 30th bash didn't end well for her producer, DJ White Shadow, who had $15k worth of gear jacked outside the party ... according to cops.
White Shadow -- who produced Gaga's "Born This Way" and "Artpop" albums -- had been on deck duty at the No Name Club event with a ton of A-listers in attendance.
According to the police report ... around 4 AM White Shadow and a pal were leaving the venue with all his gear when they got into it with a photog (not one of ours) who was hurling derogatory comments at them.
Cops say White Shadow and his pal left his gear and approached the pap, but when the tiff ended they realized someone had swiped the equipment ... including computers, hard drives, a watch and headphones.
Total loss ... $15,810.
White Shadow reported the theft to cops. So far, no suspects.

Nick Young is fiercely trying to save his relationship with Iggy Azalea ... with multiple sources telling us it's hanging by a thread.
We're told by people very close to the couple that both Iggy and Nick are pissed about the D'Angelo Russell video ... in which Nick apparently admits to cheating on Iggy over the summer.
Our sources say the engagement is in jeopardy -- and Nick and Iggy are "not on good terms."
Sources close to Nick tell us he's crushed -- telling people he's madly in love with Iggy and is focusing on trying to repair their relationship.
As for the video ... multiple sources tell us it was shot MONTHS ago.
We're told everyone involved believes the video was obtained and leaked by a 3rd party -- not Russell.
That being said, we're told the tension between D.R. and Young is thick -- but a Lakers honcho is planning to sit them down to hash this thing out man to man as soon as possible.
The Lakers want them to bury the hatchet so they can move forward.
And then there's this ... we're told Nick has already contacted his lawyers to weigh his legal options -- but it's unclear if he's planning to go after D'Angelo or whoever posted the video.

"Mob Wives" star Drita D'Avanzo is off the hook for kicking her neighbor's ass over a parking spot ... all because the neighbor refused to snitch.
Drita was supposed to appear in a NYC courtroom Wednesday morning in the case, but we've learned the D.A. has declined to prosecute her. We're told the the D.A.'s office dropped the matter because Drita's neighbor, Mary Bratti, refused to cooperate.
It's an interesting twist ... considering there's clear video of Drita and Bratti brawling on Bratti's doorstep.
Drita was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault after the brawl, but now she's been spared, thanks to mob rules -- not ratting to cops.
